Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah, the Kuwait Ambassador to Bahrain, visited Kuwait Finance House-Bahrain's (KFH-Bahrain) headquarters at BWTC, to hail its achievements and contributions to Bahrain's development. Upon his arrival he was received by Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, Managing Director and CEO of KFH-Bahrain. Sheikh Azzam began the visit with congratulating the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people on the occasion of the 38th National Day and the 10th anniversary of King Hamad's succession to the throne. The Kuwaiti Ambassador extended his congratulation to KFH-Bahrain for winning the Best Islamic Wealth Management Award, and its subsidiary Menatelecom for winning the Internet Service Provider of the Year Award 2009 for the Middle East and Africa, hailing these achievements and the international recognition the bank enjoys. Sheikh Azzam said "The Kuwaiti - Bahraini relations are deeply rooted in history, and what brings the two brotherly countries together is much more than what words can describe. The presence of a well established financial institution such as KFH in Bahrain is a real embodiment of this relation, and I would like to express my pleasure and pride to the contributions made by KFH-Bahrain in the development of the Kingdom. The impact made by the Bank became apparent in the various aspects of economic and social life and are reflected on the different society groups. I wish KFH-Bahrain further success in its future endeavors". Mr. Alkhayyat expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for his visit and for his continued encouragement and support.
