With continued encouragement and direction from the Central Bank of Bahrain to adopt the best technologies and the most sophisticated international standards, Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) is equipping customers with some of the world's most advanced automated telling machines (ATMs) as part of its commitment to innovation and customer care. The new machines, which were recently deployed throughout KFH-Bahrain's ATM network, employ a technology that not only ensures that they are simple to use, but also enables customers to perform a wide range of transactions as well, safe in the knowledge that the machines include secure card slots and EMV readers. The new machines have also been designed with a very attractive and distinct new look. KFH-Bahrain also expanded its network to include 6 stand-alone ATMs, 5 drive-through ATMs, and many more in its ever increasing network of branches. This currently consists of 8 branches, all located in strategic and key locations throughout the Kingdom. The new ATMs feature a raft of clever innovations designed to make the ATM banking experience simpler, safer and more secure. Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Khalid Rafea, Executive Manager and Head of Banking Group said "we at KFH-Bahrain realise that the standards and expectations of our customers for banking have changed. This understanding of our customer's needs is applied in everything that we do, whether it be in our branches, our products and services and now our ATMs. This customer centric philosophy is the foundation upon which our promise to be a next generation bank that does things differently is built upon". Concurrent to this agenda, KFH-Bahrain has recently signed a cooperation agreement with Sinnad Company to manage its network of ATM machines, issued ATM EMV-compliant smart cards and connected them with Benefit and Visa networks, while monitoring and managing electronic transaction risks. KFH-Bahrain customers with who have not received their new cards are advised to visit the branch they opened their account with along with copies 2 valid IDs (and residence permit for non-Bahrainis).
