Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain recently honored 3 more employees in the "Fursan Baytik" employees’ recognition awards for their outstanding contributions to the Bank. They were selected based on a criteria of high performance and achievements both in the workplace and during their time outside the office. At an award ceremony held at the KFH-Bahrain headquarters, Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO presented the 3 employees with awards and certificates of appreciation. Also present were the Executive Managers responsible for the departments Mr. Abdul Razak Jawahery, Mr. Khalid Rafea and Mr. Sattam Al Gosaibi. The winners of Q4 2014 were; Mr. Ebrahim Jasim Al Ahmed who received the ‘Leadership Award’, Mr. Ragunathan Periamara Naickar who received the ‘Smart Performance Award’, and Mr. Mohammed Rashid Al Meer received the ‘Teamwork Award’. During the Award ceremony, Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, commented "I am proud to announce that these employees have proven their excellence both in and outside of work and congratulate them for their sincere efforts and skills which has led to them being nominated for the "Fursan Baytik" employees’ recognition awards. The concept of the "Fursan Baytik” awards, is to motivate employees to aim higher and perform better and these winners have proven themselves to be of the high caliber that is sought after.” Mr. Khalid Rafea, Executive Manager at KFH-Bahrain added that "Our employees play an essential role in the Bank as they are considered the most valuable asset available. The Bank’s success in today’s market relies heavily on the performance of our employees and I am delighted to see these staff members join the current “Fursan Baytik” award winners to date." The Fursan Baytik employees’ recognition awards aim to honor and appreciate the achievements of employees in the Bank based on a set of criteria that considers their performance both during work and in their own time out of the office in order to motivate them and develop their potential. Employees are nominated every quarter from all departments within the Bank and a special committee selects employees who fall within the pre-defined criteria. Candidates for the award would need to be recognized for having a positive attitude towards work and colleagues, providing an outstanding level of service to customers, leadership, innovation, teamwork and active participation in team achievement. The committee also considers employee's achievements outside work such as pursuing and attaining professional certificates or academic degrees in order to motivate them for self-development.
