As further acknowledgment of its achievements and significant growth in its projects finance business, Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain), was named the 'Best Project Finance House' by Banker Middle East during their 8th year Awards ceremony. The prestigious award was presented at the Emirates Towers hotel, Dubai on June 17, 2008. As one of the most respected and widely read financial publications in the region, Banker Middle East have organising the Banker Middle East Industry Awards for the past eight years, providing successful institutions in the MENA region a benchmark to work towards. KFH-Bahrain was nominated by a panel comprised of international industry specialists and subsequently voted as winner within its category in a competitive process. Mr. Sattam Al-Gosaibi - Head of Corporate Finance - received the award on behalf of KFH-Bahrain and commented "The Banker Middle East Awards have been recognising excellence across a range of banking and finance verticals for many years. More than 70 financial institutions were nominated for the Banker Middle East Awards 2008 by leading regional financial experts. The nominees were then announced to readers of Banker Middle East, who cast their votes to decide the winners. The event was attended by more than 500 senior bankers and industry leaders and is a highlight of the regional banking and finance industry's calendar. KFH-Bahrain has financed various development projects ranging from substantial state-of-the-art office buildings, warehouses, healthcare institutions, transportation hubs, infrastructure projects among others.
