Kuwait Finance House- Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain), a leading Islamic commercial and investment bank, today announced that it has donated BD10, 000 to the Ministry of Health to fund the development of two pre-diagnosis rooms at the Arad Health Centre in Muharraq. The cheque was presented by KFH-Bahrain General Manager, Mr. Abdulhakeem Al Khayyat and accompanied by Mr. Mohammed Al Wazzan, KFH-Bahrain Board Member, to Mr. Mohammed Buchairy, Director of Health Centres, and Ms. Mariam Al Jalahma, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health. Through the donation, KFH-Bahrain aims to continue in its efforts to provide financial assistance in order to enhance the quality of the health care system in Bahrain, with a particular focus on streamlining the pre-diagnosis process and cutting waiting times throughout the various Health Care Centres and Hospitals around the Kingdom. "The bank takes pride in its efforts of lending financial support towards good causes, especially ones that will help to improve the quality of the health services received by our community. This donation will be a major contribution to the expansion and development of the Arad Health Care Centre, which will ensure that it can handle larger numbers of patients in the shortest possible time and through the cutting out of long waiting hours found at some health care centres," said Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, General Manager, KFH-Bahrain. Commenting on the donation, Mr. Mohammed Al Buchairy, Director of Health, said, "I would like to take this opportunity to thank KFH-Bahrain for this generous donation. It is our aim to make sure that patients at all our Health Care Centres receive the best pre-diagnosis service. This donation will greatly support in the expansion and redevelopment of our Arad Centre, in order to assist patients of this area." KFH-Bahrain's donation falls under an ongoing campaign currently being conducted by the Ministry known as the "The Right Care at the Right Time."
