Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain, one of the leading Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain and a major contributor to the development of the Islamic financial sector, recently honoured another batch of employees under the ‘Fursan Baytik’ Employee Recognition programme in acknowledgement of their outstanding achievements and performance during the third quarter of 2019.
The award ceremony was held at the Bank’s Headquarters located at Bahrain World Trade Center, in the presence of several officials and executives from the Bank. Mr. Abdulhakeem AlKhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO at KFH-Bahrain, presented the awards and certificates of appreciation to three employees from three different categories, where Mr. Tariq Mufarreh from the Shari'a Audit Department was honoured for Excellence Class in the Field of Teamwork, Ms. Fatima Sulaibeekh from the Department of Financial Control was honoured in the Smart Performance category, and Mr. Ahmed Abdullatif from Wealth Management Department was honoured for Excellence in Customer Service,
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Abdulhakeem AlKhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO at KFH-Bahrain, revealed, “We would like to extend our congratulations to this year’s 3rd Quarter batch of employees honoured as part of the ‘Fursan Baytik’ programme, who have performed exceptionally in their roles, implementing the principles and vision of KFH – Bahrain, and the high work ethic the Bank is known for. We are constantly seeking to maintain the ideal work environment which supports our employees’ ongoing development and pursuit for continued excellence and creativity”

The ‘Fursan Baytik’ Programme starts off with nominating a number of employees from various departments in the Bank each quarter of the year, the honoured employees are chosen based on a number of criteria, including overall achievements, demonstrated excellence in professional or academic development at work, outstanding Team Work or Customer Service, Leadership Skill, and creativity to name a few. The personal achievements of the employees outside the work are also taken into account in the field of academic achievement and development, and corporate social responsibility, with the aim of encouraging employees’ self-development and service to the community.
