Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) recently received students from both local and international universities, providing them with the opportunity to join various vocational training programs offered by the Bank, including the summer and vocational training program associated with its Mobile Application “KFH Jazeel Banking”. The training program comes as part of the Bank's commitment to social responsibility and its efforts to develop local talent.
The summer vocational training program, which ranged from one to three months, aimed to train students and preparing them with necessary skills to enter the work field, as well as provide a deeper understanding of the different functions and responsibilities at various departments within the bank.
The vocational training program, under “KFH Jazeel Banking”, also provided trainees with an opportunity to learn about features, specifications and usage of the Bank's digital platform which provide digital banking services. In addition, the training focused on refining the trainees’ knowledge in Fintech and enhancing their experience in digital transformation. A practical project was allocated as an essential part of the program, in which trainees were instructed to work on developing and implementing project proposals, which worked towards transforming banking products model into modern digital products and services in order to develop skills such as leadership, supervision and innovation.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of KFH-Bahrain said, “Human Resources development is one of our main priorities, these programs are therefore considered to be an essential part of KFH-Bahrain's CSR strategy. We also aim to establish a solid foundation for growth and development in the Kingdom of Bahrain by preparing young cadres and equipping them with soft skills and practical experience. KFH-Bahrain considers these programs to have a significant impact in raising the performance levels of trainees, and creating leadership skills, that will help them advance in their career paths, and continue to develop thereby adding value to businesses across various sectors.”
Also, Ms. Sara Zainalabedin, Head of Human Resources at KFH-Bahrain, commented, “We are delighted to receive over 60 trainees since the beginning of the year to date through several training programs; continuous training is essential to maintain high levels of knowledge, anticipate the requirements and challenges to development and continue to provide opportunities for learning. We believe that the pursuit of enriching academic knowledge with practical experience is one of the most important factors of career success. On the other hand, at KFH-Bahrain, we are also keen to capitalize the trainees' creative ideas that can be transformed to applicable business solutions.”
