As part of a Job-Shadowing Programme, 15 students from the West Riffa Girls' Secondary School visited Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) headquarters for a one day educational programme to gain practical working experience from select employees from various Departments within the Bank. Organised by KFH-Bahrain's Human Resource Department, the programme is inline with the Bank's continued Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and in coordination with the Injaz - Bahrain Job Shadow Programme. The objective of the visit was for students to 'shadow' the Banks employees and gain greater knowledge and insights into their day-to-day job roles. The aim of the programme was to provide students with the opportunity to identify the skills sets to focus upon to best position themselves for their future careers. Mr. Sattam Algosaibi, Executive Manager at KFH-Bahrain, commented, "This was a unique opportunity for the students to experience first-hand what they have learned in the classroom." "KFH-Bahrain is dedicated to supporting education in the Kingdom and this was one of several annual programmes that we are committed to, that introduce and help prepare students for their practical careers", he added. The Job Shadow Programme is an initiative organized by InJAz - Bahrain that introduce students to the workplace and the potential career opportunities available to them in the future. The Programme is intended to inspire and motivate students to adopt an entrepreneurial approach to work by introducing them to innovative and creative solutions in the workplace and learn the basic skills that will make them valuable assets to their future employers.
