
KFH2 played a big game at all levels and therefore deserved to clinch this title despite all odds against the team from winning its more experienced and star-filled rival KFH1. The team proceeded with a number of strong attempts at target led by the maestro midfield player and star Sayed Mohammed Sayed Abbas, who was chosen as the star of the final match.
The team did not rest during the first half as they succeeded with scoring 3 goals against KFH1, which was enough to end the game early.
During the second half of the match, and despite the early goal conceived by KFH1, the champions did not lose focus at their target and managed to gain back their superiority in control and acquisition leading them to a 4th goal before Baba shortened the gap with a 2nd goal from KFH1.
At the end of the match, KFH2 was crowned champions of the KFH-Bahrain Bankers’ Cup by MP Adel Bin Abdul Rahman Al Assoomi President of the Bahrain Basketball Association and First Deputy of the Asian Basketball and Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, MD & CEO of Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain. KFH1 was also handed a trophy for successfully acquiring the runner-up position.
