KFH-Bahrain awards a contract to Kooheji Contractors to build 6 mock-up villas in Diyar Al Muharraq
Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain), has signed a contract with Kooheji Contractors, a leading Bahraini construction company, to build 6 mock-up villas in Diyar Al Muharraq. The construction will commence immediately and the villas are scheduled to be completed in October 2011 for viewing by potential buyers.

KFH-Bahrain Supports the Supreme Council for Women’s “I Am Bahrain” Campaign
Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) announced its support to the “I Am Bahrain” Campaign organized by the Youth Committee at the Supreme Council for Women (SCW). The youth initiative was driven by the directives of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and the SCW Chairperson, who, during a meeting last February, highlighted the importance of the role played by Bahraini youth in consolidating the principles of true citizenship, fraternity and solidarity as outlined by Islam.

At a prestigious Gala Dinner attended by Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Executive Director of inJAz Bahrain, Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain honoured the 2008/2009/2010 students, who successfully completed the highly acclaimed Sophia Antipolis Mentorship Programme, Also attending was His Excellency M. Yves Oudin, the French Ambassador to Bahrain, Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, Managing Director and CEO of KFH-Bahrain, dignitaries and the Banks Senior Management.

April 18th the last date to receive bids from contractors to build villas in Diyar Al Muharraq Affordable Housing Project
Mr. Abdulhakeem Alkhayyat, the Managing Director and CEO of Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain), announced today, that April 18th will be the last date to receive bids from contractors to construct 200 villas in Diyar Al Muharraq Affordable Housing Project. 14 Bahraini contractors have been invited to participate in this project, which is considered the largest residential project undertaken by the private sector in Bahrain, where between 2,500 to 3,000 crafted affordable housing units will be developed in KFH-Bahrain’s flagship real estate development project Diyar Al-Muharraq, which is planned to be developed in several phases.

With Confidence in the Bahraini Economy: KFH-Bahrain Launches BD 200 Million Crafted Affordable Housing Project in Diyar Al Muharraq
At a press conference held on 28th March 2011, KFH-Bahrain announced that the Board of Directors of Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) resolved in a meeting held on 17 February, 2011, to build around 2,500 crafted affordable housing units within its flagship real estate project, DIYAR AL MUHARRAQ, one of Bahrain’s biggest mixed-use residential urban developments in addition to injecting BD 100 Million in capital between KFH-Bahrain and its partners for the project.
