Al-Mukhaizeem: KD_118.74 million KFH’s Group net profit in 2009
Kuwait Finance House’s (KFH) Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Bader Al-Mukhaizeem announced that KFH Group has achieved total revenues for 2009 of KD 766.703 million, and gross profits for the same year of KD 316.515 million, and that the profit to investment depositors reached KD 192.584 million, which will be distributed as follows: 2.780% return for continuous investment deposits, 2.162 % return for Al-Sudra deposit, and 1.853% for saving investment accounts, after taking KD 203.885 million as a group provisions.

Zain Bahrain and Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain sign online payment agreement
Zain Bahrain recently signed an agreement with Kuwait Finance House - Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) to provide Zain customers who have a KFH - Bahrain account the opportunity to use online facilities to pay their Zain bills. The agreement will enable Zain customers to pay their bills from the comfort of their home or office, or even while they are traveling overseas via the Bank’s e-Banking Services or extensive ATM network.

In an initiative to foster cultural exchange between Muslim youth and the various youth groups in the world, and to enhance the spirit of leadership among Bahraini youth, Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) announced its partnership with Mosaic to establish its first international operations in the Kingdom of Bahrain. KFH-Bahrain Joint Lead Manager and Bookrunner for Landmark Sukuk issue for the International Finance Corporation (IFC)
Kuwait Finance House – Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) acted as a Joint Lead Manager and a Bookrunner for the US$100m Sukuk issue for the International Finance Corporation (IFC; S&P AAA; Moody’s Aaa), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. The five year Sukuk was oversubscribed and rated Aaa by Moody’s, in line with IFC’s issuer ratings.

KFH-Bahrain sponsors Bahrain National football team fans traveling to New Zealand
